Founded in 1914, the Waseda University Track and Field Team is a prestigious program that celebrated its 110th anniversary in 2024. It has produced numerous Japanese national team athletes for global competitions, including the Olympics, Paralympics, and World Championships. The Ekiden Division has won the Hakone Ekiden overall title 13 times, and the total number of victories in the three major men’s collegiate ekiden races—including the Izumo Ekiden and the All Japan Collegiate Ekiden—stands at 20. Since 2025, we have been providing conditioning support.

For the Ekiden Division, in addition to supplying our products, we provide comprehensive conditioning support, including knowledge sharing on sleep and other areas, and individualized consultations based on members’ conditioning data. Through this initiative, we aim for members to deeply understand and build habits around conditioning, enabling them to perform at their best.

Comment from Waseda University Track and Field Team Ekiden Head Coach Katsuhiko Hanada
I learned about TENTIAL through an introduction from a university faculty member who supports us on campus.
To handle rigorous training, recovery is essential, and I consistently tell the athletes that quality sleep is crucial. However, only a limited number of students maintain such an ideal lifestyle, and I felt improvement there was a team challenge.
By signing this sponsorship agreement, we expect that instruction and support for daily conditioning, including sleep, will undoubtedly contribute to the growth of a team aiming to win the Hakone Ekiden.

University of Tsukuba Soccer Club

Under its 129-year history and philosophy of developing and strengthening “good players, good teams, and good coaches,” the University of Tsukuba Soccer Club has produced many individuals who excel domestically and internationally. Since 2022, we have had a support agreement and, as part of it, have provided conditioning support.

With the University of Tsukuba Soccer Club, beyond supplying our conditioning products, we also run initiatives such as the “Tsukuba Elite Cup supported by TENTIAL” to promote soccer among youth. We will continue new initiatives beyond product provision, including sleep seminars and career support.

Comment from University of Tsukuba Soccer Club Head Coach Masaaki Koido
We are very pleased to have renewed our partnership agreement with TENTIAL Inc. In recent years, player conditioning has become a critical factor in delivering high performance. No matter how intense the training and matches, without rapid recovery, fatigue will only accumulate. I believe that our first league title in the Kanto University League in six years last season owed much to utilizing TENTIAL’s products, which allowed us to approach every match in good condition.
Our club has also long conducted ongoing activities to promote soccer among children. By working hand in hand with TENTIAL on such initiatives, we hope to continue fulfilling our mission of contributing to the local community and educating the next generation.

The Tohoku Fukushi University Golf Team is a prestigious program that has produced many top professional golfers, including Hideki Matsuyama, with alumni surpassing 100 total tour victories. This year, both men and women have posted strong results, including Gunma Tamura winning the Japan Student Golf Championship, making a significant contribution to the golf industry. Since 2025, we have been providing conditioning support.

For the Tohoku Fukushi University Golf Team, we will provide comprehensive conditioning support, including our flagship recovery wear “BAKUNE,” other products, and sleep guidance. Through this initiative, we aim for student members to deeply understand the importance of conditioning, build daily habits, and turn it into a competitive advantage.

Comment from Tohoku Fukushi University Golf Team Head Coach Yasuhiko Abe
Athletes competing on the world stage build their bodies from their university years, regardless of sport. Even Hideki Matsuyama, an alumnus of the Tohoku Fukushi University Golf Team, never skips training; I believe that is the foundation of his strength to compete on the PGA Tour.
Even during college life while aiming to go pro, it is essential to raise one’s awareness, and one key element is sleep. With this conditioning support agreement, we expect that product provision and sleep guidance will raise our members’ awareness of conditioning. We also hope TENTIAL will continue activities to broadly communicate the importance of conditioning to society.
